2006 Honorary Chairs

Frank & Sharon Insero

Frank is the Managing Partner of Insero & Company, one of the largest CPA firms in Western and Upstate New York. In that capacity he is responsible for the day-to-day decisions of his firm, as well as advising closely-held for profit businesses in all areas of financial matters. Frank not only provides his clients with traditional accounting, tax and general business advice, he also is a valued resource for business growth strategies and improving business performance. He is chairman of the firm's Wealth Strategies Group which focuses on helping entrepreneurs develop likely successors for their business and has had extensive experience working to transition businesses to family members, employees (ESOP) and outright sales to public as well as private markets. His hands-on approach and focus on service are valued resources for his clients.

Frank is an active supporter of higher education and has served as Adjunct Professor at St. John Fisher College, Nazareth College and RIT, where he has taught specialized courses on tax in real estate, partnerships, tax shelters, international operations, accounting methods and estate planning. In addition to his CPA license, Frank is a licensed Insurance Agent and Registered Investment Advisor.

During his career Frank has been active in the Rochester community including serving on the Boards of Highland Hospital, Locust Hill Country Club, The Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm. He was nominated and selected as a finalist to the Small Business Council's Business Person of the Year for 2006.

Sharon Insero is the Chief Operating Officer of PICS Telecom Corporation ("PICS"). PICS provides Investment Recovery services for many of the large telephone companies throughout the world. Sharon oversees the accounting department as well as participates as an integral member of the management team. She is a CPA with 12 years prior experience with a regional accounting firm.

Sharon recently concluded a three year term as treasurer of the Ronald McDonald House Charities. She has also been active in many other local organizations including the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, The Women's Council, Swing with the Legends and Opportunities in Accounting.
